Updated Website

I've finally got my updated websites, keithtaylorphoto.com and this, keithtaylorstudio.com, up and running. I've built them using Kirby instead of Wordpress, and although there's nothing wrong with Wordpress, and I use it for plenty of other sites, it just wasn't feeling right. The theme is a good one and I could have just modified those, but I wanted more. Hopefully this new website will allow me to post new work and posts a lot easier than before. I've played with Kirby in the past but never really got past the basics, but I felt the time was right to learn how to use it properly. After all, I do like to tinker, as someone once pointed out to me.

I'm not going to lie, it wasn't easy at times because I'm an artist, not a coder, which was also bought to my attention the other day, but once I'd figured out what went where it started to make (a little) sense.

Bringing over all my Journal posts from the past 15 years isn't possible, or rather I think it's beyond my current capabilities, but it's something I'll keep looking into doing. In the meantime, I've archived them at archive.keithtaylorphoto.com. The Studio Journal posts were easier as there wern't so many of them and I was able to do it manually.

There are still a few things I'd like to change, and more will probably pop-up over the next few days and weeks, but for now, they're both presentable.
